Placid Industries’ Hystereis brakes features the company’s patented Cog-Buster to automatically smooth braking torque. Frictionless torque is produced by internal magnetic fields rather than contact between parts. Slip torque is smooth, accurate, and reliable, with long term stability and wide speed range. Even high slip RPM causes no wear. Torque is smooth even near zero RPM. Units from 0 to 11 oz.-in. to 0 to 250 oz.-in. rated torque, with heat dissipation to 110 watts are available from stock.
