Optical Fibers and Cables

altFiberguide Industries (Stirling, NJ) offers single mode, multimode, graded index, tapered, and metal-coated optical fibers that are suitable for applications in the medical/biomedical and spectroscopy industries, as well as for use by industrial OEMs. The specialized optical cables utilize air gap technology to eliminate all energy absorbing materials at fiber end. The cantilevered fiber end can accept very high power levels that would normally destroy traditional fiber termination. A uniquely designed heat sink is thermally and mechanically connected to the assembly to effectively conduct generated heat away from fiber.
