High-Sensitivity Infrared Detectors

altCal Sensors (Santa Rosa, CA) has launched a line of IDA (Integrated Detector Assembly) lead selenide and lead sulfide high-sensitivity infrared detectors with integrated electronics enclosed within a compact, hermetically sealed TO-8 package. Covering the 1.0 to 5.5 μm infrared region, IDA detectors provide sensitivity of 1.5E10 Jones. IDA lead selenide (2.8 × 1010 cm Hz1/2 w-1 peak D*) and lead sulfide (1.5 × 1011 cm Hz1/2 w-1 peak D*) detectors are available in both 1mm and 2mm square sizes. The detectors come with integrated electronics in an industry standard T0-8 package IDA lead selenide (2.8 × 1010 cm Hz1/2 w-1 peak D*) and lead sulfide (1.5 x 1011 cm Hz1/2 w-1 peak D*) detectors are available in both 1mm and 2mm square sizes.
