Frame Grabber

ADLINK Technology, San Jose, CA, offers the HDV62, a PCI Express frame grabber with uncompressed image acquisition and video streaming in 1080p HD. The unit provides 1920 × 1080p resolution, progressive scan, and noise generation, as well as a wide aspect ratio. It is equipped with a field programmable gate array (FPGA) and 512 MB memory buffer, and offers color space conversion in real time via onboard hardware to facilitate applications that require different color formats for image analysis.

altBased on the PCI Express x4 form factor, the unit supports RGB, YUV, and monochrome pixel output formats. It also provides various video input support from both digital and component analog video inputs for HD or SD video via a 170-MHz DVI input or through RGB and YPbPr analog component inputs.
