The IMPACT® M-Series Embedded Vision System from PPT VISION, Bloomington MN, allows users to perform up to four inspections that can be initialized independently — at different times or simultaneously — using a single vision processor. Customers are able to program and operate the IMPACT software, which works with the Microsoft® Windows® XP operating system, and features a connection to a monitor or keyboard directly from its M40 processor. The processor uses the Windows XP operating system to transmit data and images, connecting directly to databases, SCADA systems, and other business system software.
