Panasonic System Networks Company of America, Secaucus, NJ, has released the GP- KH232 single-chip HD Remote Head Camera System. The multi-format camera head, which measures 28 × 27 × 31.5 mm, is designed with a 1⁄3" CMOS sensor to deliver a native 1080p/60p resolution from HDMI output. The accompanying 120 × 36 × 157 mm camera control unit (CCU) and four-meter cable support digital transmission between the devices. The system is also designed with a flexible HD interface that includes RGB/YPbPr as well as the HDMI. The device delivers 900 TV lines of resolution with an S/N ratio of 54dB.
