Nanopositioning Controller

altPI L.P. (Auburn, MA) has introduced the E-709 digital piezo nanopositioning controller that features fifth order polynomial digital linearization, two notch filters for piezo operation at high frequencies, and DAC-in-the-loop architecture for positional stability. High-speed interfaces include USB, RS-232, Real-Time Analog, and TTL. Setup software enables remote access and servo tuning. The controller includes a piezo power amplifier, and can be used in applications providing analog control signals.
