Servo Motor Actuator

The IMA integrated-motor actuator from Tolomatic Inc. (Hamel, MN) combines a servo motor with a rod-style actuator. Compared to rod-style actuators, the integrated design improves dynamic performance by eliminating the need for separate motors, couplers, motor mounts, gearing and belts.

altThe actuator provides forces up to 2,000 lb-ft with speeds of 23 in/sec, and positional accuracy of +/-0.00984 in.(+/-0.25 mm). It is available in incremental stroke lengths from 6 to 18 in.
