Magnetic Encoder

The MagRes BM1V magnetic incremental encoder from Baumer Ltd.(Southington, CT) is designed to endure the operating extremes of railway vehicles. It has up to 12 channel outputs, delivering data with different pulse rates.

altThe encoder provides rotational speed data, speed monitoring, wheel slide/slip protection, roll-back detection, and torsional vibration detection. The encoder’s cast iron housing is IP67 rated and withstands shock and vibration, dirt, oil, grease, water, condensation, and temperatures from -40 to +50°C.
