Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions (Waterbury, CT) offers a 36-mm G4 linear actuator that includes an adapter plate that allows the smaller 36- mm OD unit to replace 42-mm and 46-mm units in existing applications using the same bolt pattern and pilot surface. The actuator design utilizes optimized teeth geometry along with high-energy neodymium magnets, resulting in a higher continuous force output in a small package. It incorporates custom-engineered plastics and larger bearings for greater rotor support and higher axial load capability. The actuator is suited for a range of applications, including medical equipment, bar code scanning devices, printing equipment, laboratory instrumentation, and other mechanisms that require high force in a small package. Three configurations are available: Captive, Non-Captive, and External Linear.
