DB Consulting Group provides NASA’s Glenn Research Center (GRC) in Cleveland, OH with a variety of professional, administrative, computational, and engineering services. These services are focused on the following areas: computer science, computer and software engineering, security, networking, application development, and Web services. The services support more than 3,000 scientists, engineers, technical specialists, skilled workers, and administrative professionals at GRC who focus on conducting mission-related research that ranges from technological advancements in spaceflight systems development, to the human research program, to research on aero propulsion, space propulsion, power systems, nuclear systems, and communications.

Information technology (IT) services include IT security policy, planning, execution, and training, as well as IT security engineering and operations. Enterprise services include operations and production control and support for client/server, Web, database, mainframe, and business applications; server virtualization for improved service delivery; engineering design and integration, analysis, administration, and operation of GRC’s local and wide area networks; capacity planning and expansion; response to threats; and risk mitigation. DB also provides support for emerging and developing technologies, system design methodologies, and service delivery strategies to ensure that NASA remains aligned with industry trends and best practices.

Mission support services include communications systems engineering, software development, high-end computing, and computer graphics for NASA and GRC. Test facility support includes installation, maintenance, calibration, operation, and specialized administration and development of data acquisition systems.
