Actuators

Exlar Corp. (Chanhassen, MN) offers the Tritex II™ DC-powered actuators that integrate power and control electronics with brushless servo motors and actuators in one package. The actuators are combined with electronic power and thermal management modeling. They offer continuous forces of 1,000 pounds, 1,300 pounds peak, and speeds reaching 33 in/sec. The servo drive, digital positioner, and actuator are housed in an integrated package, creating a self-contained motion control system.

altThe actuators offer a range of I/O capabilities, such as digital I/O, analog I/O, and communication buses including Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, and PROFINET IO. The actuators feature multiple protocol options and operate from 12-48VDC, connecting to industrial electronic devices on the same network. Users can configure and control the actuators with Exlar’s Expert software.
