Addressing Automotive Security with Embedded Solutions
- Friday, 10 January 2014
The increased implementation of consumer electronic features in the vehicle plus the increased interconnectivity between different control modules is expanding the vehicle security attack surface. As well, future connections to other vehicles and stationary information nodes are needed to support the future Intelligent Transportation System, which will increase the opportunity for attacks on vehicle control. As the vehicle becomes more connected, the need for security becomes critical to prevent these attacks from being successful – embedded technology can help. This presentation will focus on the latest embedded technologies developed according to the security standards needed to address these trends.
