Plasma Modeling with COMSOL Multiphysics

Self-consistent modeling of non-equilibrium discharges has proven to be a significant challenge for the scientific community over the last three decades. The complexity of plasma modeling lies in the fact it combines elements of reaction engineering, fluid mechanics, physical kinetics, heat transfer, mass transfer and electromagnetics. The net result is a rather complicated multiphysics problem.

The COMSOL Multiphysics Plasma Module is designed to simplify the process of setting up a self consistent model of a low temperature plasma. This webinar will walk you through the process of setting up a model of an inductively coupled plasma as well as showing various other application specific examples.
