A surface contamination detection system enables accurate, automated, in-line inspection of metallic and composite panels prior to bonding, coating, painting, or welding. The technology is transferable to any application where surface contamination of metal or composite panels is undesirable, necessitating the need for in-process inspection. Click here for more info.
A non-contact continuous photoelectric device detects paint coating contamination on welding seams of steel can sheet. The device employs a continuous light beam with adjustable, controllable, projected light as a light source, where a light beam is projected on welding seams of steel can sheet to be inspected through a set of focusing lenses that may adjust size of the light beam.
