LED Driver ICs

Power Integrations (San Jose, CA) has announced LinkSwitch-PH LED driver ICs in an eSIP™-7F (L package) that measures 2mm high. The Lpackage includes a heat transfer tab on top of the device, which is electrically quiet so additional heatsinks do not contribute to electrical noise propagation.

The LinkSwitch-PH single-stage, primary-side controlled, LED driver ICs feature >90% efficiency and >0.9 power factor. Suitable for designs from 4W to 55W, SSL driver ballasts based on LinkSwitch-PH ICs satisfy ENERGY STAR® and EN61000-3-2 class C and D requirements.
