BreezeRite Air Filtration Module

BreezeRite, an indoor air modular filtration system, attaches to new or existing ceiling fans, preventing dust buildup on the top and forward edge of fan blades and removing airborne particulates, smoke, and odor. Rather than having to vacuum, dust, or wash down each blade, consumers can pull out, rinse off, or replace the filter housing. The technology extends the life of existing central HVAC units, resulting in less wear, filter changes, and professional cleaning of the A coils.

BreezeRite’s reversible design allows for the filter to accommodate to either direction that the fan travels. Made from ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene and recycled plastic materials using injection-molding technology and minimal CNC-machining practices, BreezeRite can also be molded (using hot water) to accommodate irregular fan blade shapes. The lightweight, dual-exhaust port structure also allows the filtered air to be vented above and below the fan blade, maintaining a high level of fresh air circulation.

The filters can also be cleaned with warm water and re-used at least once. According to the inventor, filters should be cleaned after 30 days, and replaced after 60 days. The filters should be changed more frequently in environments with higher concentrations of airborne particulates: frequently open windows, nearby dirt roads, enclosed smoking areas, or environments with high pollen or mold counts, for example.

The BreezeRite Filter Housing and Main Housing are packaged together, along with filters for five blades. Replacement filters, packaged separately as refills for the housing components, can be tailored to meet specific air quality types.

WaterSAFE, a combination filter and hand-powered ultraviolet (UV-C) lamp, cleans polluted, microbe-filled water. When its handle, or nozzle, is pushed downward to pump water out of its reservoir, a tube attached to the handle drives a rack that turns a pinion. The pinion is connected to an appropriate gear set that rotates a small generator, producing the required voltage and current to power the water purifier’s UV-C lamp. Because the UV-C lamp is directly adjacent to the tube that pumps water to the nozzle, WaterSAFE requires a minimum size lamp for maximum sterilization.

Wind2Go, a portable generator, collects wind energy and stores it in a rechargeable battery. In single charging mode, the battery connects to the generator and uses exposed wind to energize. In multi-charging mode, the magnetized connector allows several generator units to be connected together to charge the same battery, significantly increasing the small generator’s power output. Although it is primarily designed to be used in emergency crisis situations, and in remote and inaccessible places where the power grid is unavailable, the generator can also be used in many other applications like camping and outdoor activities.
