Data is visually presented in the style and format chosen by the user, and the display format and content may be modified on the fly using drag-and-drop graphics. It is composed of off-the-shelf components such as National Instruments’ LabVIEW and Microsoft’s SQL Server Express. The software supervises all control and measurement activities in automated testing using solutions as simple as a single PC, to multi-system networked architectures. The program coordinates control and measurement functions from multiple vendors’ hardware, and can take hundreds of measurements simultaneously.
