The Konica Minolta RANGE 7 non-contact 3D measurement camera from Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Ramsey, NJ, has a scan range of 450-800 mm, an accuracy of ±40 μm, and a scanning input time of approximately 2 seconds per shot. The camera and its controller can be integrated into a single body weighing approximately 6.7 kg. In addition, the RANGE 7, which has a 1.31 megapixel CMOS sensor, features a 3D preview function and interchangeable TELE and WIDE lenses. A multi-focus mode also automatically shifts the focus position to provide three-dimensional measurement data, and an auto-focus function adjusts to a user’s specified points.
