The IR-1000 near-infrared camera from Dage-MTI (Michigan City, IN) features automatic contrast and real-time edge enhancement. The realtime CCD camera includes electronics that automatically and instantaneously readjust when a scene changes. The user also has continuous access to the manual gain and may engage the camera’s black-level control to achieve specific grey-scale contrast.

The camera’s real-time edge enhancement feature sharpens edges and resolves fine details in the image. With enhanced sensitivity across the visible and infrared spectral wavelength, the 0.5-inch sensor includes a 5x increase in sensitivity at 900 nm. An optional computer interface board is also available.
