OZ Optics’ (Ottawa, Canada) series of laser diode sources delivers an ultra-stable output, either directly or via a fiber optic cable. Sources are available at wavelengths ranging from 375 nm to 2050 nm, and with output powers up to 300 mW. The system resides in a compact package with both the source and temperature control powered by a single 5 Volt supply. The output power is remotely controllable, while safety interlocks shut the unit off should the ambient temperatures exceed safe limits. An optional fiber pigtail provides a circular Gaussian output, while collimating optics produce beams with divergences below 0.5mrad. Both standard single-mode and polarization maintaining versions are offered.
