High-Speed Cameras

Vision Research (Wayne, NJ) has updated its UHS-Series line of 1-megapixel (1Mpx) cameras. The Phantom v2512, v2012, v1612, and v1212 cameras are now available with either 72GB, 144GB, or 288GB of memory. Vision Research’s 1TB and 2TB CineMag IV allow users to quickly record data to a large amount of non-volatile storage. The cameras also can save data directly into the CineMag. The CineMags can be downloaded later either through the camera or through Vision Research’s CineStation. The Phantom cameras are equipped with 10G Ethernet and transfer data at up to 500 MB/second. All memory options can be divided in up to 63 segments or individual shots. For Free Info Visit: http://info.hotims.com/55596-148

Radiation-Hard Lenses

The new Model 346 non-browning lens from Resolve Optics Ltd. (Chesham, UK) operates with color sensors in areas subject to radiation. The lens uses special glass that withstands long-term exposure to radiation up to a dose of 100 million radians and temperatures to 55°C without discoloration. Able to operate at f/2, the device provides minimum geometric distortion from 400 to 750 nm. Objects can be imaged from 50 mm to infinity without using add-on adapters. The Model 346 lens is designed for optimized use with 15-mm diagonal color CMOS sensors. For Free Info Visit: http://info.hotims.com/55596-149
