The objective of this project is to provide a laboratory optical reference beacon with low angular jitter that can be used to simulate a beacon in space provided by, for example, stars or planets. A laser is mounted at the top of a seismic isolation system and provides an outgoing light source with very low angular jitter.
Overlapping spectra from flourescent-dye probes could be seperated.
