Name Photodetectors on Coronagraph Mask for Pointing Control
Description The concept proposed here envisions incorporating a detector array in the center of the mask itself directly on the mask so that much of the star light available at that focus can be utilized effectively for the purpose and a direct control of the mask position will be feasible through simple arithmetic operation of the signals from the various detector elements for feed back into the pointing control mechanism.
