DescriptionA multi-parameter, microsensor-based low-false-alarm fire-detection system (MMFDS) has been developed and demonstrated. Under false alarm and actual fire conditions, the new technology demonstrated a zero false alarm rate in contrast to a conventional system, which consistently triggered false alarms, while both systems consistently detected fires.
