Name	Lidar System for Airborne Measurements of Clouds And Aerosols
Description	During 1999-2000 a new advanced cloud and aerosol lidar system, the Cloud Physics Lidar (CPL), was built for use on the high altitude NASA ER-2 aircraft. The CPL provides measurements at three wavelengths to permit a comprehensive study of cloud and aerosol properties. The CPL is designed around a high repetition rate, low pulse energy laser transmitter.
