Description The innovation is a lithium-ion cell charge control unit. The unit allows multiple lithium-ion battery cells in a series-connected pack to charge independently of each other when being charged from a single current source. The charge circuitry is "self-powered," drawing a minute amount of power from each of the battery cells being regulated.
