Advanced materials such as beryllium are commonly admired due to their usage for mission-critical applications, yet they are sometimes overlooked for new applications due to misperceptions regarding producibility, cost, delivery and environmental health and safety concerns. In many cases, beryllium-containing materials help resolve complex design issues and can be considered a safe alternative to conventional materials.

This webinar, sponsored by Brush Wellman, will explain how beryllium materials can transform your product design to a high performance product with very little effort. You will learn how to exploit the synergies of beryllium and how every mechanical and physical property is a benefit, either as a primary or secondary driving factor for your design. We will explain manufacturing techniques that will reduce delivery lead times and associated cost. In addition, you will learn the facts regarding the state of current knowledge for proper handling of beryllium materials.
