Stainless Steel Strip for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

Sandvik (Benton Harbor, MI) has introduced Sandvik Sanergy HTTM, an advanced stainless steel strip developed for interconnectors in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). The strip has excellent high temperature corrosion resistance and very good high temperature strength in the range normally used in SOFCs.

Microwave Plasma Hydrogen Recovery System

A microwave plasma reactor was developed for the recovery of hydrogen contained within waste methane produced by Carbon Dioxide Reduction Assembly (CRA), which reclaims oxygen from carbon dioxide. NASA can incorporate the innovation into flight hardware systems for deployment in support of future long-duration exploration objectives.
