XUV Spectrometer

McPherson’s (Chelmsford, MA) grazing incidence wavelength dispersive optical spectrometer allows rapid analysis of spectral light in the ~1 to 300 nm wavelength region (4 to 1200 eV). Beside high-harmonic laser generation experiments, the Model 248/310 is also useful for measuring ion- or discharge light sources and astrophysics detector calibration. The Model 248/310 ships completely assembled and tested for spectral-resolution and with vacuum leak test certification.

CCD Color Line Scan Camera

Chromasens (Constance, Germany) has announced the allPIXA™ pro color line scan CCD camera for high-speed machine vision applications. The allPIXA pro, with line rates up to 92 kHz in standard models and up to 156 kHz in special OEM configurations, allows for a maximum 300% increase in speed compared to conventional CCD line scan cameras when used in Camera Link Full mode. It also has improved responsivity, thanks to upgraded tri-linear CCD sensors, while retaining the best legacy features of the original Chromasens allPIXA in a new more compact footprint. Several models are available in resolutions from 2048 × 3 to 7300 × 3 pixels.

Siglent Technologies (Solon, OH) has introduced a new line of digital spectrum analyzers. The SSA3000X Series includes two new models with frequency ranges from 9 kHz to 2.1 GHz and 9 kHz to 3.2 GHz. These new spectrum analyzers incorporate all-digital Intermediate Frequency (IF) technology for higher measurement accuracy and frequency resolution. With IF technology, the frequency conversion and filtering is accomplished with digital signal processing earlier in the signal path for more accurate and stable values.

Saki Corporation (San Jose, CA) has debuted its 3rd-generation 3D automated optical inspection (AOI) line that accommodates dual lanes, XXL sizes, and increases throughput by 15%. Saki’s new BF- 3Di-D (dual lane) and BF-3Di-Z (extra-large platform) 3D AOI equipment provides measurements of components with a height range between 0 and 20 mm, achieving 1-micron height resolution, a false call rate of less than 100 ppm with 0 escapes, and an increased positioning speed of 50%.
