UV LED Radiometer

Phoseon Technology (Hillsboro, OR) introduces a family of ultraviolet (UV) LED radiometer products that provide customers a simple, reliable way to measure and maintain their UV LED light sources. The radiometers are optimized for 380-420 nm wavelengths and provide traceable calibration to ensure accurate measurements. A fixed-location model measures peak irradiance, and an in-motion model measures dose as well as peak irradiance. An optional SD card allows irradiance and temperature profile mapping on PC displays.

Integrating Sphere

The ISP 2000 integrating sphere from Instrument Systems (Munich, Germany) has been specifically designed with a diameter of 1.9 meters to facilitate precise measurement of total radiant power and luminous flux of lamps, luminaires, and large LED modules. The ISP 2000 is equipped with an auxiliary lamp to compensate for self-absorption and a temperature sensor to monitor the thermal conditions of the interior. A rail-mounted sliding mechanism delivers light-tight closure for the ISP 2000 and permits the sphere to be opened easily for quick access to the interior.

UV LED Meter

Heraeus Noblelight (Hanau, Germany) introduces the NobleProbe®, a UV LED meter that can be used to take precise measurements of irradiance in the near-UV range. NobleProbe is designed to determine irradiance within a wide measuring range from 1 mW/cm² to 100 W/cm² at wavelengths of between 365 nm and 460 nm. The meter's temperature-insensitive detector is optimized for LED applications and is ideal for the narrow-band spectral emission range. NobleProbe® is a CE-compliant measuring instrument with battery operation for mobile and stationary use. The device can be stored at temperatures between -10°C and 50°C and take measurements at an ambient temperature of 5°C to 40°C.

20 Watt DC/DC Converters

XP Power (Sunnyvale, CA) announced additions to its range of low power metal cased DC/DC converters with the launch of the 20 Watt JCM20 and JTK20 series. Achieving a power density of up to 51 Watts per cubic inch and an efficiency of up to 89%, these 1 x 1 x 0.39 inch (25.4 x 25.4 x 9.90 mm)units are suitable for applications where PCB space for the converter needs to be kept to a minimum. The JTK20 series accommodates an ultra wide 4:1 range, and is available with either 9 – 36 or 18 – 75 VDC input voltage. With a 2:1 wide input range, the JCM20 series offers three input ranges of 9 – 18, 18 – 36 or 36 – 75 VDC inputs. Single output models provide +3.3, +5, +12 or +15 VDC, while the duals offer +/-5, +/-12 or +/-15 VDC.
