The Path to V2X Using Digital Short Range Communication (DSRC)

In Conjunction with SAE

In December 2016 NHTSA published a notice of proposed rule-making requiring automakers to equip their vehicle fleets with Digital Short Range Communication (DSRC) technology starting in 2019. This Tech Talk discusses key use cases for implementing the DSRC, as well as relevant information on standards, technology, and testing. It also provides the opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

Is Your Data Acquisition System Prepared for Big Data?

Data acquisition systems are producing more analog data than ever before. This opportunity to uncover new insights comes at the risk of spending more time searching for and analyzing multiple data sets. Without proper data management, it is easy for important results to go unnoticed, causing repeated tests due to lost or undocumented data. Learn how proper metadata documentation, custom triggering, and implementing the right analysis technique help to save only the data you need to make informed decisions.

Managing Misalignment in Linear Motion Systems

When design engineers evaluate linear bearings, they always ask about performance attributes such as speed, load capacity and lifecycle. Then they want to know the price. It’s rare, however, that they ask about the bearing’s sensitivity to misalignment. And that’s a big mistake, because misalignment represents one of the leading causes of premature linear bearing wear and failure.
