Sterling Instrument (New Hyde Park, NY) released the “S1268Z-...M” series of 84 combination aluminum-acetal gears. Coming in metric and imperial sizes, the gears are 20° pressure angled, AGMA Q10 and ISO Class 7. Sizes range from 21 – 210 teeth with outer diameters ranging from 0.958 – 4.083". The gears are designed to mate with hubs accepting shaft sizes from 0.0900 – 0.2498" in diameter, and come in 24, 32, 64, and 72 diametral pitches with a face width of 1/8". Other features include noise reduction, a small gear hub envelope, and Fairloc® integral hub fastening system technology.
