Harmonic Drive (Peabody, MA) introduced the FHA Mini Actuator, a hollow shaft, brushless servo actuator. The unit is a combination brushless DC servomotor and an encoder, with a through-bore up to 14 mm in diameter. The flanged output is supported by a bearing structure allowing the load to be mounted to the actuator. The maximum torque is up to 250 in-lb, with an accuracy of 1.5 arc minutes. Three frame sizes are available, ranging from 50 – 74 mm square, and 48 – 66 mm in length.
