The TA330 linear three-phase servo drive from Trust Automation (San Luis Obispo, CA) is a 150-V, 900-W continuous (2700-W peak) linear drive. It can be configured to interface with any motion controller, including three-phase DC brushless servo motors using Hall Effect sensors, three-phase AC brushless motors using external sinusoidal commutation, single-phase DC brushed servo motors in bridged mode, and brushless linear motors. With low electrical noise, the TA330 is designed for integration in or near systems with noise-sensitive circuitry, such as sensors and transducers. It can be used with high-inertia mismatched stages and low inductance motors.
The standard model requires a 24-V input to power logic and bias supplies. The standard configuration allows the drive to operate with low electrical noise. For applications not sensitive to electrical noise, an optional internal logic and bias supply can be provided. Measuring 14.9 × 7.7 × 4.7", the drive features integral thermally controlled, variable speed, forced air cooling; a housing that protects against operator injury; ribbon connectors; SMB coaxial connectors; and pluggable-terminal connectors.
