Torque Transmission (Fairport Harbor, OH) has introduced a line of right-angle gear drives housed in glass-reinforced nylon, and are available in two model groups: RAB (standard right-angle drive) and MAD (for miniature angle drives). Both models feature one or two inputs and 1:1 or 2:1 gear ratios. RAB gear drives measure 3-21/32 × 3-15/16 × 1-1/4" deep and weigh 12 ounces. They employ shielded, lubricated, hardened steel ball bearing and gears, and are rated at 1600 RPM and 1/3 horsepower maximum speed of 3000 RPM.

MAD models measure 1.25 × 1.25" and weigh three ounces. They use permanently lubricated gear drives, hardened steel helical gears, and non-metallic bearings, and are rated at 1,800 maximum RPM and 1/8 horsepower continuous duty.
