RPMC Lasers (O’Fallon, MO) has introduced an industrial 50W picosecond laser suitable for manufacturers who need to drill or cut thin materials to produce components that should not be subjected to heat. Because the RAPID lasers have such short pulses, heat generated by the beam will not migrate into heat-affected zones.
