Titan Tool Supply (Buffalo, NY) has introduced the VJ7X1.5 articulating video boreoscope featuring onboard (standalone) image processing and battery-powered, portable operation. It has a high-resolution 2.4-inch TFT LCD screen with a sun visor and high-intensity LED lighting with adjustable brightness control. It also includes a thumb-activated joystick and can record and store approximately one hour of video with a 1GB MicroSD card and 500 still images. It can be connected to a larger monitor or computer via USB. The boreoscope has a diameter of 0.272" (6.9mm) with polyurethane sheathing, flexible length of 60" (1.5m) with a waterproof insertion tube and tip, and focal length of 0.59" (15mm) to infinity. Operating temperature range is 20 °F to 150 °F.
