Pangolin Laser Systems (Orlando, FL) has introduced the L44 Series LASORB™ to protect laser diodes, photodiodes, and LEDs from single, multiple, and repeated ESD events of either positive or negative polarity. It also protects against reverse bias conditions. The LASORB mounts in a 2-pin, through-hole configuration, and features 200-mil pin spacing and a compact (8.9mm × 10.4mm × 3.8mm) package.
