The new series of sole light engines from Omicron (Rodgau, Germany) are available in up to three wavelengths or up to six wavelengths, in the range of 375nm to 830nm, and an optical output power of up to 150mW at each wavelength. The light sources are diode lasers and DPSS lasers whose beams are efficiently combined and coupled into one or two single-mode fibers. High-speed analogue and digital modulation, as well as fast switching between all individual laser lines, is accomplished via direct electronic control. Users can choose from more than 20 available wavelengths including popular wavelengths such as 405nm, 488nm, 561nm or 642nm, as well as more exotic ones such as 375nm, 442nm, 594nm or 730nm.
