The new NSC0905 sensor from New Imaging Technologies (Evry, France) is specially designed for high-performance intensified night vision applications. The NSC0905 sensor has a pixel pitch of 10.6um with 1280×1024 effective pixels and matches perfectly to an 18mm standard image intensifier tube output. Its high fill-factor (> 70%) and the possibility of taper-less 1:1 coupling to a 18mm IL tube improve the performance of night vision cameras. The NSC0905 can be scanned at 75Mhz with 3 scanning modes: High Definition (HD), binning and zoom. The maximum frame rate is 50Hz at HD mode and more than 150Hz at binning and zoom modes.
