Photonic Products (Hertfordshire, UK) has announced the Opnext HL6385DG, a 642nm, 150mW, single longitudinal mode semi-conductor laser diode with TE mode oscillation. The Opnext HL6385DG laser diode is a single longitudinal mode, low aspect ratio laser diode with optical output power of 150mW CW (typ), at a lasing wavelength of 642nm, operating current of 280mA, threshold current of 110mA, operating voltage of 2-6V, and LD release voltage of 2V. Operating temperature range is -10°C to +40°C.
