The HyperVision HPV-2 high-speed video camera from Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (Columbia, MD) uses a high-sensitivity IS-CCD image sensor to achieve ultra-fast recording, including newly developed multi-camera synchronized recording, at speeds of 1 million frames per second. The video camera offers high resolution (312 × 260 pixels) files at all recording speeds, making it suitable for applications including defect analysis, development of advanced technologies, and scientific, engineering, and medical research.
