Samsung Techwin America (Ridgefield Park, NJ) has introduced a 1.3-megapixel, high-definition network camera. The SNB-5000 model camera now offers 360-degree viewing.

Samsung's SNB-5000 HD network camera provides 1280 x 1024 resolution at 22 frames per second (fps). It features intelligent video analytics and Power over Ethernet (PoE). Multiple simultaneous streaming includes H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG encoding. The camera, which employs an ImmerVision Enables® panomorph lens, also supports the 16:9 HD aspect ratio and 30 fps HD standard (720p).
