Digital Welding Camera System

Invisual E. Inc. (Toronto, Canada) has introduced the ICAM digital weld viewing and monitoring system as a tool for improving welding automation. The ICAM system extends the operatorís view of the weld zone by providing real time display and capture of the weld arc. The camera is a standalone smart camera with rich I/O and an onboard programmable area. Features include: compliance with protection standards DIN 3-7 (gas welding) and Din 9-13 (electro welding); dynamic range > 140dB; auto brightness and exposure adjustment; no blooming effects or image artifacts in scene; reticule overlay; ICAM software to access system parameters.
