Data Acquisition Software

Bartington Instruments (Oxfordshire, England) offers a new version of software for its Spectramag-6 Data Acquisition system. The Spectramag-6 combines PC-based data storage/display with a separate signal conditioning unit and supports simultaneous sampling on six 24-bit channels. The version 5.1 software offers up to 700,000 data points in a single scan recording, giving approximately one hour of continuous logging at 200Hz sampling and over eight days of logging at 1Hz sampling, a multiple scan mode that allows up to 10,000 single scans to be run back-to-back with data saved to PC hard disk, and digital filtering options for logged data.
