Optiwave Systems Inc. (Ottawa, Ontario) has released the OptiSystem 6.0, the latest version of its optical communication system engineering design and validation tool. The system’s new features facilitate the simulation and design of optical communications technologies including WDM Passive Optical Networks (PON) and Radio over Fiber (RoF) systems. The OptiSystem 6.0 allows for a flexible simulation design environment and has refined component libraries designed to boost productivity.
