The BPS Series high-voltage DC/DC converters from BEAR Power Supplies (Phelps, NY) power avalanche photodiodes (APDs) and piezoelectric actuators in optical systems, lasers, and other industrial and scientific instruments. The high-reliability isolated 1.5W converters come in an ultra-miniature encapsulated package of 0.5 × 0.5 × 0.4 inches (12.7 x 12.7 x 10.2 mm) and weigh 4 grams. The BPS Series converters have a single input voltage (configurable from 3 VDC to 15 VDC), a single output voltage (configurable from 50 VDC to 300 VDC), and operate from -55°C to +85°C with no heat sink or electrical derating required.
