Optical Tweezing Fiber Laser

Manlight (Lannion, France) and RPMC (O’Fallon, MO) have released a new fiber based OTS (Optical Tweezing Source) that features a narrow linewidth. The new OTS is a compact CW fiber laser that delivers output powers up to 20W with a near diffraction limited beam (M² <1.1). Manlight’s patented injection technology allows the use of highly reliable broad area laser diode pumps for a cost-effective, maintenance-free operation. The all fiber design guarantees the robustness of the laser without any optical parts to align or to stabilize.
