Lambda Research Corp. (Littleton, MA) offers the 6.4.3 release of their OSLO lens design software featuring 18 additions augmenting the flexibility and open architecture of the program, allowing the user to modify, customize, and adapt the program to specific needs. Features include a CCL command that accesses and copies any native plot or graphic to the MS Windows clipboard as a bitmap, and the utilization of field points from the field point set with both x-field and y-field data. Users may also model general anamorphic aspheric surface shapes without control problems associated with spline surfaces.
